The Sweet Lime (Limetta / Mosambi) are most popular in Asia as well as some european countries like France where they are called (Bergamot) .
The original citrus is however traced back to Mozambique where they are called Mosambi.
They are mostly used in drinks as when they are fully ripe and cut open the juice is sweet but once it has been in contact with air once opened after a short time they will taste bitter again so it is best to drink the juice freshly squeezed.
They are a hardy tree to grow and will grow in many different soil types and climates.
