The Strawberry / Cherry Guava is a small ever green bush but can turn in to a larger tree over many years although often stays the size of a shrub. Its bark is grey to reddish-brown and peels readily.The fruit is smaller than a standard guava but looks the same and grows in the same environments.
The taste is similar to a standard Guava by they do have more of a berry flavour which gives them a slightly different taste.They are a specialty fruit in some countries.
