The Lakoocha has a very unique flavour.It is sweet but also tangy with a distinct
taste of lime and citrus over tones.
It is a sub tropical tree which grows all throughout asia even in Nepal so it
can handle cold temperatures as well.The tree is semi deciduous and will lose it's leaves
only for a short period of time in spring.
It is in the same family as Jack Fruit and Chempadek which is why it is also know
as the Monkey Jack Fruit.
