This is a Sri Kembangan seedling grown tree.Carambolas grow true to type from seed.
Carambola fruits are a long ribbed shape that when Sliced are star shaped. The skin is thin, light to dark yellow and smooth with a waxy surface. The flesh is light yellow to yellow, translucent, crisp and very juicy, and has a sweet tropical cordial like flavour.
